Farhad - Farhad’s new beginning :)

Few local people found Farhad near Kotwali, Chattogram. According to Farhad, his aunty (uncle’s wife) and cousin left him on a bus with few clothes in a small shopping bag. He told us that he came from Chawk Bazar, Dhaka. He also mentioned to us about his dad, Kabir Mistri, and mom, Anowara. However, he can not tell anything else about his family and his past.
He has a problem with his speech. He never went to school before. But we are glad that Farhad is going to school this year. He started everything from scratch. With the care of Umbrelă, Farhad can read and write now. However, he is not attentive because of his mischievousness. We hope that he’ll grow his interest in his studies.
He likes to eat pineapple and watermelon. His favourite game is football. He wants to be a teacher when he grows up.
We are trying to teach him good manners and etiquette, discipline, extracurricular activities like painting, poem recitation, prayers. However, he has dyslexia and registers things slowly. So he is attending counselling sessions too.
We are happy that he has improved a lot since the first time he came here. We are striving to see more improvements in him soon.
